After 20 years of hosting in every time slot and initially working as an account executive for 107.3 The WAVE - Carmen is thrilled to be a part of the development group responsible for Jazzy247 the Next WAVE. Though not her first experience with a microphone, presenting her favorite genre of music has been a long time dream come true. Carmen's background includes Voice-Over Commercial Work for TV and radio, Television Hosting, Talent Development and Stage Production in her home town of Detroit. In addition to being heard locally on Cleveland radio, Carmen has been a regular presenter for SKY.fm and also currently presents for Old School and RnB station Hot923thebeat.com.
Through many successful years of experience producing for The Miss USA and Miss Teen USA Pageants - with two Miss USA wins to her company's credit, Carmen became a highly sought after consultant for pageant winners hoping to achieve a status beyond the local level. An eloquent public speaker and successful corporate image consultant, Carmen joined forces with long time friend and radio colleague Josefa Salinas to create a personal development program for young women ages 13 to 18, called “How To Be A Girl.” The pilot program kicked off in Los Angeles and was held in successive years at Cal State San Bernardino. Carmen is delighted to announce the expansion of “How To Be A Girl” to North East Ohio.
